Unix timestamp converter

Convert Unix timestamps in seconds or milliseconds to UTC dates, or convert a date with an explicit time zone to a Unix timestamp.

How to use it

Choose the conversion direction and unit. Enter dates in ISO format with Z or a numeric time zone offset.

Example

A Unix timestamp of 0 seconds is 1970-01-01T00:00:00.000Z.

Which timezone is used?

Displayed dates use UTC. Date input must specify its own offset.

Limits and privacy

Output dates are UTC. A timezone-free date string is rejected; leap-second notation is not supported.
